JAMMU & KASHMIR- SWITZERLAND OF INDIA


This picturesque place is a land of unimaginable beauty surrounded by lush green valleys, snow capped mountains, heavenly & pristine lakes, temples and mughal era gardens. Its handicrafts like pashmina shawls, traditional jewelry, carpets and embroidered dress material are a must buy.

Gulmarg and Sonmarg are the towns famous for glaciers in J&K. There are many adventurous spots & parks, you can even go for sledging, skiing, skating etc.

According to personal experience, I would say Pahalgam is the real beauty of Kashmir. Anyone would have the best time in Pahalgam. It is surrounded by greenery, meadows, sparkling lidder river and pines. The famous tourist attraction of Pahalgam is Tulian lake. It's a perfect holiday destination for those who love snow and hope you go back home with snow capped memories.



DHARAMSALA


This is a famous place in Himachal Pradesh and is home to the Dalai Lama. It is the smallest tea region of India. Mixed deciduous trees like deodar, oak, cedar and fir are found here. You can have thukpa (a famous food) and enjoy the view.

There are two parts of Dharamsala, one is the lower Dharamsala i.e the commercial center, crowded with markets, courts. Another is upper Dharamsala that is Mcleodganj , surrounded by monasteries, temples and tibetan population. You can see fluttering flags, temples and monks in bright saffron robes. 

The engrossing part in Mcleodganj and Dharamshala are the adventurous activities like paragliding, trekking and camping.



CHERRAPUNJI- WETTEST PLACE ON EARTH.


Cherrapunji or Cherrapunjee is the rainiest place on planet earth, thus the wettest one. It's the high altitude town in Meghalaya famous for its root bridges made from rubber trees, these can bear the weight of 50 people at once. This is one of the enchanting and serene locations in the northeast. You can notice lush greenery, dramatic landscapes and magical waterfalls (like Nohkalikai falls,Nohsngithiang Falls,Dainthelen falls and many more) nearly everywhere.



SIKKIM- BIRD'S PARADISE


Sikkim is a northeastern state in India, located in foothills of Himalayas, is a scenic state of the region. It is a paradise for those who love nature and renowned for its flora & fauna, alpine meadows, Buddhist gompas, hot springs, national parks etc. It harbors over 550 different species of birds. The third highest peak in the world, Kanchenjunga lies in Sikkim.

JAISALMER- GOLDEN CITY OF INDIA

KUTCH- WHITE DESERT
